Removing an impaled jig from a fish with a forceps, or pliers will often cause the paint to flake off the jig, or breakage of the hook shank. This handy tool will save you time, and money on the ice! Easiest tool for hook removal for the kids. Shipped same day and received the next. Would definitely order again.
The T2 Hook Removers work great and dont chip paint off of your jigs but the metal on Lanyard doesn't. Lost one already. But a little electrical tape helped keep it on my Striker jacket and bibs where its easy to get at and still be able to use with the lanyard!
