The Patented Cold Snap Blade Protector installs in a "Snap" safely protecting your auger for transport in less than 3 seconds! There's no need to remove your gloves to attach your blade cover to your ice auger! Protects you and your blades.
To Remove your Snap Cap, simply hold the auger upright with the weight down on the cover, and open with your foot. Lift out and you're done. Works on both the 8" hand auger, and power point version. Tested tough. Resistant to snow and ice build-up.

This product is what my nils auger should have came with instead of the yellow tiny cover that tends so wear out.
It's definitely a needed replacement for the factory provided cover. Simply sit on ice and lightly push auger blade in and it snap fits on without even needing to touch it. Fits loose but doesn't appear to want to come off at all. A little pricey is my only complaint.
That’s a handy little item. Better than what nils supplied. I cut my hand trying to adjust the old cover a few years ago. Never again. Thanks
